Way to go after it and compete. Keep it going.
All in all, this was a good day to be a Panther. There were a large number of Personal Records and Season Bests. This is a great time of year because it’s time to cash in on weeks, months and years of work. There was some great pack running today. Watching Whitt and Bennett work together for a couple miles was cool. The trio of Nicholas, Nicholas and Ethan could have been tighter; if you compress and work together you’ll crush 19 TOGETHER. Gabe and Josh did some nice duo work which led to Gabe running a PR. The Freshmen trio of Dalton, Tristan and Nicholas actually made me smile. You boys could be something extraordinary in 5000 miles.
Most of you have two meets left, so harness what power you have built and use it. Do not be conservative in your training. This is the time to be smart and be focused in your training and in your life. Do not throw away weeks, months and years of work by being careless or foolish. Make good decisions by eating right, sleeping right and ‘doing’ right.
We will continue to work with purpose and resolve so be mentally ready and physically prepared for the challenges that lay ahead. Our adventure is just getting really really interesting!
