12th out of 24 teams with a 21:21 average; this average is a little quicker than ADIDAS, so we are getting better.
This was our fourth meet in two weeks and that is a tough stretch. It was a demanding schedule and made even more challenging with some high temps and difficult conditions. Our preparation is improving but we must improve on some things such as the course walk, a proper warm up and a sufficient cool down. These are important routines on race day.
We have a week of training and then an important conference meet at CR (next week). Our ultimate goal of making States can happen if we achieve shorter, more immediate objectives. One of these objectives is to beat teams like CR in our conference. The other is to get 5 guys under 18. We must work with these objectives in mind. Believe you can be better.
